Meet Ginny
Creativity came early to Ginny Daggy. As the youngest of a large family, she often entertained herself with colored buttons and pieces of fabric, creating paper dolls and strolling the farm where she grew up. She began a lifelong love of nature through the exploration of farm pastures, mud puddles and later, the creek.

As with many artists, her role as wife, mother and working professional pushed art aside for a while. Working with her husband Bob, she raised chickens, grew a garden, drove farm machinery and raised two daughters, lots of beef and hogs and grain. After retirement, Bob & Ginny moved to Parke County, Indiana, and maintained a seasonal residence in Naples, Florida.

Surrounded by the beauty of nature and given the time to pursue their interests, the both began to explore artistic hobbies. Ginny gained a mentor in her close friend Ferne Chain, who first saw the spark of talent and encouraged her, at the age of 65, to develop that talent.  Recetly reestablishing their Indiana roots, the Daggys made a permanent nome in the Thorntown community. In 2008, Ginny realized yet another lifelong goal--she bought and rehabilitated a small workers cottage-style house., She moved in Art from the Heart Studio along with Pearl Street Coffee Roaster, Pan & Pantry Bakery, Metals & Minerals Jewelry and Gun Dog Ranch Studio.
